Description

A carved limestone head with a rounded cap or helmet band across the forehead, large almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose and a faint smile. The head sits on a block-like base with the neck and shoulders partly shown, set against a plain grey backdrop on a dark stand. Ears are flattened against the sides of the head, and the surface shows some chips and wear.
