Limestone Neo-Cypriote, Cesn. Coll

Description

A pale limestone head wearing a helmet-like cap that rises to a rounded crown with a small knob on top, and flaps falling beside the cheeks. The face has almond-shaped eyes with incised lids, a short straight nose and a small closed-lipped smile. The head stands on a dark cylindrical base with a number label, and broken edges of the stone show at the neck and lower right; the background is plain grey.
