Pottery vessels and bowls on shelves inside a glass-fronted display cabinet — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C08523. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Several shelves in a glass-fronted display cabinet hold many small pottery vessels, including jugs, bowls and two-handled cups, most set on dark wooden bases. A vertical wooden frame with a keyhole divides the cabinet into two sections. Some vessels are plain and dark, while others show painted or incised bands and narrow necks.
