Description

A carved stone head with a broken top and right shoulder rests on a broad block-like base against a plain pale wall. The face is turned towards the left of the picture, with worn eyes, nose and mouth, and the hair is shown as a row of rounded locks over the brow. The lower base shows faint marks and weathering, and the photograph is mounted on a card with a border.
