Description

A round-bodied jug with a tall, flaring spout rising from its right shoulder and a strap handle arching over the top. Dark painted bands, zigzags, a concentric circle and a cross-hatched lattice cover the body, and the spout carries horizontal and wavy bands. The vessel stands on a plain pale surface beside a small number label at the lower right, and several cracks run through the clay.
