Description

A pottery jug with a rounded globular body, a tall narrow neck and a flared rim, shown standing on a plain surface against a grey backdrop. A single strap handle rises from the shoulder to the neck. The surface is worn and patchy, with areas of lighter clay showing where the darker finish has flaked away, and there are several cracks across the body.
