A single bead, seen from the side and shown on a white card. It is barrel-shaped with a rounded outline and dark overall, with lighter streaks and patches across its surface. The photograph is soft and low in detail, and the object fills most of the card.

- A single dark, barrel-shaped bead seen from the side, with a rounded, slightly tapering body and pale streaks and a light band across the upper half. The close-up print sits on a pale grey card mount with a cream border, and the soft image shows little fine detail.
