Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I, A.I. 1536

Description

The head and upper body of a terracotta statue are shown in strict profile, facing right against a plain pale background. The hair is marked with rows of small punched dots and incised lines, the ear is modelled in relief, and the raised hand with fingers is held close to the chin. Cracks and broken areas run across the neck and shoulder, and a dark gap opens below the shoulder.
