Description

Five carved gems and cameos are arranged on a plain pale mount. The largest, lower right, is an oval cameo with a curly-haired head in profile, and the top left oval has a letter inscription running down its right side. The top right gem is banded stone with a worn carved head, while the lower left piece is set in a ring with a metal rim and the centre left piece is a small dark oval with a carved figure.
