Description

A carved limestone head photographed frontally against a plain grey backdrop. The headband has leaf-like shapes across the top and a band of twisted relief below, while the almond-shaped eyes, straight nose and small closed mouth are clearly modelled. The neck is broken off at the base and the stone surface is pitted and worn.
