Cypro.Hell.I sherd

Pottery sherd with a dark surface and white curved decoration, shown on a grey photo card — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06216. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A curved pottery fragment with a dark surface is photographed against a grey card mount. A band of dark paint runs along the outer edge, and white dotted and streaked markings form curved bands across the body. The left and lower edges are broken, and a handwritten pencil note is partly visible along the bottom of the card.
