Description

A trapezoidal pottery sherd shown as a grey photographic print glued onto a pale grey card cut to an irregular outline, set on a cream sheet. The sherd is darkest at the top and fades to lighter bands towards its broken lower edge, with faint curved lines across the surface. Part of a handwritten caption runs along the bottom edge of the sheet, cut off by the frame.
