Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I, statue (A.I. 1746)

Description

A tall terracotta statue of a standing figure, photographed full length against a plain pale background. The head wears a conical cap, with almond-shaped eyes, a small nose, and ear ornaments; the shoulders are short and one arm hangs down with a simple hand. The body is a rounded cylinder with a relief band of concentric arcs across the lower part, and cracks and repaired joins run over the surface.
