Cylinder seal standing upright, with carved wedge-shaped marks and a figure, shown on a photo mount — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05208d. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A cylinder seal stands upright, with a disc-shaped rim at each end, shown as a halftone print on a pale card with cut corners. The carved surface has vertical rows of wedge-shaped marks down the centre, a figure in a vertical band on the right and a small curved motif at the upper left. The engraving looks shallow and worn in places.
