BA bronze tools, weapons, bones and small finds, Ayios Iakovos Tomb 8

Description
Metal finds are arranged in rows on a grey background: many thin pins or rods, several leaf-shaped blades with tangs, a flat trapezoidal fragment and three rings plus a curved fragment. On the right are a pin with a knobbed head and a long plain shaft, and three rounded objects with central holes, whose material is not clear. The print is mounted on a card with a cream border and a code label in the corner.

- Description, scan 2
- A single corroded metal object, long and tapering to a point at the lower end, shown against a plain pale background. Its broad upper end is broken and has a deep dark cavity, and its surface is pitted and encrusted. A handwritten number card reading 91 sits at the top of the mount above it.
- Description, scan 3
- Three rounded grey objects, each pierced by a round bore, are shown one above another on a pale ground. A small numbered label card sits beside each object, and handwritten notes in blue ink run along the bottom edge of the mount. The objects look like stone or hard clay with a granular surface, and their bores appear to pass straight through.
- Description, scan 4
- Five long, thin, dark metal objects, each mounted on its own pale card strip and arranged side by side on a cream mount. Some are wavy or slightly curved, one has a small loop at the top, and another has a ring-like head at its end. Handwritten number labels mark three of the strips.
- Description, scan 5
- A single long, narrow metal object stands upright against a pale grey background. Its upper end tapers to a short point, and the body widens slightly towards a broader lower end whose surface is rough and pitted with corrosion. The print is mounted on a light card border.
- Description, scan 6
- Metal finds are laid out in rows on a plain pale ground: thin pins and rods, several pointed tanged blades, a long narrow blade, a flat rectangular fragment and a rod with a knobbed end. Along the bottom are four rings of different sizes, one a broken crescent, and at the right are three rounded objects with holes through them. Small number labels are visible along the lower edge.
- Description, scan 7
- A single corroded ring with a thick, rough, pitted surface and uneven thickness fills most of the frame. The ring is set against a pale background on a grey card mount with cut corners, which sits on a cream sheet. Cracks and raised encrustation are visible along its outer edge.
- Description, scan 8
- A single dark, heavily corroded object photographed on a pale card, tapering from a wide, rough base to a narrower top with an uneven, broken edge. Its surface is pitted and crusted, with faint marks and ridges visible across it. The print is mounted on a grey card with a light border.
- Description, scan 9
- A single slender object, dark against a pale grey card, tapers to a point at both ends and stands upright in the frame. The print is mounted on a card with a yellowish border, and a few small blue marks lie on the card near the lower end. Its surface looks smooth with faint tonal variation along its length.
- Description, scan 10
- Six thin, dark metal rods are shown in a photograph on pale card mounts. One long rod with slight swellings lies on the left mount, while five rods of varying length sit side by side on the right. Among the five, one is thicker with a rounded end, one has a looped top and a bent shaft, and three are slender and straight, with corroded surfaces.
- Description, scan 11
- A long, thin metal pin photographed upright against a grey background and shown in two separate pieces. The upper piece has a rounded, knobbed head with a flared, split top above a straight shaft. The lower piece is a plain, slightly tapering shaft with a worn, uneven surface.
- Description, scan 12
- A single open ring, thick and dark with a rough, pitted surface, its two ends tapering and set apart. It is centred on a pale grey card with a narrow light border, and a small yellow hinge strip sits at the upper left.
