Fragment of a stone bowl from Petra tou Limniti, shown in side view on a pale surface. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05140. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A large curved fragment of a grey stone bowl, roughly a half-moon in outline, with a broken upper edge and a rough, mottled surface of dark and light patches. The piece rests on a pale sheet or card that is lit from the front, casting a soft shadow to the left. The plain grey background fades to a lighter tone at the top.
