Description

A heavy stone mortar with a rounded, squat body, wider than it is tall. Its top has a shallow, roughly hollowed basin with a grainy surface, and the outer surface looks rough and slightly worn. It is shown in front view on a pale background, resting on a thin pale strip, with a soft shadow beneath.
