Glyptic (A.i.2265)

Description

Ink drawings on a white card of a scarab seal and its base: at the top a side view of a flat, low object with a stepped top; lower left the back of a scarab with a rounded head and segmented wing cases; lower right the flat engraved base in an oval outline, with a dot, a vertical stroke with a knob, a half-moon and a curved band. A number label sits below the drawings, and handwritten labels are on the mount beneath the card.
