Limestone Proto-Cypriote, Ar.

Description

A weathered limestone head, larger than hand size, shown in three-quarter view with the face turned toward the left of the picture. The head wears a band across the brow and a large curled lock of hair sits above the ear, with a further lock hanging beside it. The lower left part of the face is broken away and the surface is pitted and chipped, especially where the head meets a rough base.
