Terracotta Minor Plastic 3 (A.J.281)

Terracotta figurine from Ayia Irini with a tall conical head and bent arms, standing on a flared base — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04516c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A standing terracotta figurine photographed against a pale background, with a tall conical head, small applied ears and eyes, and a broad upper body. The arms are bent and held close to the sides, and the figure narrows into a long lower body that ends in a flared base. The grey-brown surface looks slightly worn, and the print is mounted on a card with a border.
