Terracotta Minor Plastic 3 (A.J.1522)

Terracotta standing figurine with a pointed head-top and flared base, from Ayia Irini — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04515. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small standing terracotta figurine is photographed frontally against a plain grey background. It has a tall pointed head-top, a pinched nose, small ears, and arms held close to the body with the hands at the sides. The long body tapers and widens into a flared base, and the pale grey surface shows chips and wear, especially on the left arm.
