Terracotta figurine, Terracotta Minor Plastic 3, of a head and upper body with a diagonal band across the chest — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04509. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A terracotta figurine of a head and upper body, photographed against a plain grey backdrop. The face has a knob-like top to the head, a long nose, narrow almond-shaped eyes and a small mouth, and the ears are partly broken away. A broad band runs diagonally from one shoulder across the chest towards the hip, one breast is modelled, and the lower body is broken off, leaving jagged edges; the surface is pitted with small holes.
