Glyptic (A.I.2684)

Close view of a small stone seal or gem from Ayia Irini — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04406. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A close view of a small stone object, roughly triangular with rounded corners, set against a pale plain background. One side is dark and smooth, while the lighter face shows faint incised lines and a few dark spots. The image is soft and grainy, so any engraved design is hard to make out.
