Glyptic (A.I.2214)

Blurred photograph of a small oblong stone object, possibly a scarab, from Ayia Irini, on a mounted print. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04345g. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A blurred photograph of a small oblong object with a ridged, uneven surface, darker at the left end and lighter toward the right. The print sits on a grey card, and along the lower edge part of a second photograph shows a rounded dark object. The blur makes the object's form and any markings hard to make out.
