Glyptic find from Ayia Irini: a small stone object with dark and pale banding, photographed on a mounted card — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04345b. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small oval stone object with dark and pale bands running across its surface, photographed close-up against a pale grey background. Its rounded top and flatter underside are visible, and the surface looks worn and patchy. A strip of white paper or fabric shows at the bottom edge, and the print sits on a light card mount with a narrow border.
