Glyptic (A.I.2668)

Oval engraved seal or gem, shown as a close photograph mounted on a card. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04344. Public domain (CC0).

Description

An oval object with a rounded outline and a flat face, photographed close up against a grey backdrop. The surface is dark with lighter patches, and faint incised lines suggest a design across the centre, with a darker rim along the right edge. Handwritten number labels and a small faded mark sit on the cream card around the print.
