Glyptic (A.I.2298)

Description

A small photograph mounted on a pale card shows one irregular, elongated object with a rounded left end that tapers toward the right. Its surface is mottled, with dark patches on the left and speckled lighter areas across the rest, and no engraving can be made out. The image is soft and out of focus, and a handwritten number is written above the photograph on the card.
