Description

A round-bodied jug with a tall, flared neck and a single strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim. Incised hatched bands in diagonal patterns flank a horizontal grooved band across the middle of the body. The grey surface is worn and chipped in places, especially near the base, and the jug stands alone on a plain pale background.
