Description

A marble head shown in three-quarter view, with the face turned toward the viewer's left. The hair is carved in wavy strands drawn back from the forehead and over the ears, with a mass of curls rising at the top. The back and base of the head are broken off, and the surface shows small chips and pitting against a pale grey backdrop.
