Glyptic

Elongated stone seal or gem with rounded ends, photographed on a pale card mount — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04050f. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A single elongated seal or gem with rounded ends is shown in a grey photograph. The upper part is dark and smooth, while the lower face is mottled and lighter, with a faint curved engraved motif near the left end. The print sits on a pale card with a wide margin, and the outline is soft, so the design is hard to read.
