Description

An oval engraved gem or seal is shown filling most of the frame, its surface dark grey with raised, light-edged carved lines running diagonally and in curves. The motif is hard to identify from this photograph. The stone is mounted on a pale card with a blue-tinted backing sheet around it, and there are small spots and flaking at the edges.
