Limestone Cypro-Egyptian

Description

A carved limestone head with a smooth face, heavy-lidded almond eyes, a small ear and a close-fitting cap-like hairstyle, turned to the left. The head sits on a plain white rectangular block, with chipped edges visible at the neck and back of the head. A small label is attached to the base at lower left, and a fragment of another stone stands at the left edge against a dark background.
