Engraved oval stone seal from Ayia Irini, shown enlarged, with figure-like motifs and hatched lines — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03880g. Public domain (CC0).

Description

An oval seal of dark, slightly pitted stone, shown enlarged on a pale mount with handwritten number labels below. The engraved face shows a figure-like form at the upper left, vertical hatched lines at the left, a curving band across the centre and a rounded, block-like shape at lower right. The edges look worn and the surface is uneven.
