Description

A ring-shaped object with a large round central hole, its surface rough, pitted and dark with encrustation. One part of the ring loops over the other, so the outline overlaps itself at the lower edge. It lies on a plain grey background, photographed from above, and the print sits on a pale mount.

Description, scan 2: A thick, ring-shaped object with a large central hole, shown alone on a plain grey background. Its surface is rough and crusted, darker in places with lighter patches, and its outer edge is uneven. A pale gap shows through beneath the upper part of the ring, and the object is seen at a slight tilt.
