Headless limestone statue of a standing figure with arms bent across the chest. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03491. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A standing limestone figure, shown full length against a plain grey backdrop, has its head missing so the neck ends in a flat break. The arms are bent, one hand held across the chest and the other raised toward the shoulder, and a band runs around the waist above a wide, tapering lower body. The surface is pitted and weathered with faint blue traces, and the figure stands on a stepped base.
