Limestone Neo-Cypriote bust of a woman, Av.

Description

A worn limestone bust of a female figure shown from the chest up, with a flat band or cap over the head and long hair falling at the sides of the face. The face has a broad nose and small mouth, and the right forearm is bent across the chest with the hand resting near the shoulder. The surface is pitted and weathered, and the bust stands on a plain base against a pale grey backdrop.
