Limestone Neo-Cypriote (K. 166)

Description

A carved limestone head with a tall, pointed cap-like headdress, a dark line across the brow, and lowered almond-shaped eyes. The small mouth is closed, the nose is straight, and the neck is broken off flat at the base. The grey stone surface is pitted and chipped, and the head is photographed frontally against a pale plain backdrop.
