Description

A carved limestone head, slightly larger than life, with a band of curled hair framing a broad face with heavy-lidded eyes and a faint smile. The surface is worn and there is a crack running down the left side of the face and neck. The head stands on a dark-based support with a blue-grey painted stripe, and its shadow falls on the pale surface beneath.
