Limestone Cypro-Greek I Kition II, statuette (K. 052+576)

Description

A carved stone head in right profile, shown against a pale background on a mounted card. The hair is rendered as grooves over the top of the head, with a raised band across the forehead and long locks falling behind the ear to the neck. The surface looks weathered and pitted, and a blue mark crosses the top of the shoulder at the bottom edge.
