Limestone Cypro-Greek I Kition III (K. 022+111)

Description

The limestone statue is shown in profile against a plain pale backdrop, with a head and upper torso that ends at the waist. The head has a ridged hairstyle gathered into a bun at the back, a band across the hair, and a sharply modelled face. The stone surface is pitted and worn, with flaking on the upper arm, and the figure stands on a small base with pale blue-white material beneath.
