Description

Frontal photograph of a limestone sculpture showing a head and upper shoulders against a plain pale background. The face has almond-shaped eyes with heavy lids, a small closed smile and a full chin, and the surface is pitted with small dark spots. Ridged hair frames the forehead and falls down on both sides of the face, and a blue-grey edging runs along the neck where the piece meets the mount.
