Description

A carved stone head of a man, shown in right profile, with short curly hair worked in deep strands over the crown and a plain neck cut off at the base. The face has a strong straight nose, a firm mouth and chin, and a heavy brow above the eye. The surface is worn and pitted in places, and the head is photographed on a plain pale ground with a dark mark on the lower neck.
