Ayia Irini temenos topography etc

Description
A wide excavation area shows low stone wall foundations running across the ground, with a pale, levelled surface in the middle and a rectangular stone block at the left edge. Excavation spoil heaps and earth banks sit behind the trenches, and beyond them are olive or other trees and a few distant buildings under a hazy sky. No people are shown.
