English, translated from the French record

Complete biconical spindle whorl of terracotta with a grey surface, unpainted and undecorated, from square K V/η6 in the Sanctuary at Salamis; H. 2.2 cm, ø 2.5 cm, central vertical hole ø 0.5 cm. Found at the edge of a 6th-century pit, it may come from that pit, but may equally belong to the Late Cypro-Geometric III period (White Painted and Bichrome III) in which the pit was dug, perhaps. Inventory Po_0445; 2 October 1969.
