English, translated from the French record

Horse figurine with an applied and incised apron, hollow modelling, L. 7 (cm). Found among the Archaic debris of the rampart, square K VI/γ4 (west). Entirely painted red (as 255); the damage to the back perhaps corresponds to a load (cf. pack animals 287-304) or to a rider. Incomplete: head, neck and left legs missing; right legs and tail broken; red paint unevenly preserved; part of the back surface torn away. Pink-beige fabric. Few examples of Cypriot horses harnessed and mounted are known. Inventory Tc_1980; slide C_5167; negatives 01196_01, 01196_03, 01195_06. Salamis, Cyprus; 6 September 1969.
