Fragment of the right side of a bust of a goddess, with forearm and hand but without the back, from the Classical period; the forearm rises across the bust, which is indicated only by a few widely spaced vertical folds of garment and by the concealed breast beneath the slight swelling of the wrist and hand, and the long, well-differentiated fingers, slightly drooping, hold a sort of flower between thumb and index finger, largely lost to the break; bracelet at the wrist. Split figurine, chamois-coloured fabric, moulded hollow, H. 10.2 cm, width 12.3 cm; square K VI/δ4, area south of the rampart, Salamis, Cyprus; inventory Tc_1789; 28 August 1969.

L'avant-bras remonte sur le buste qui n'est signalé au-dessus que par quelques plis verticaux de vêtement largement espacés, et aussi, sous le léger bombement du poignet et de la main, par le sein ainsi caché. La main, aux doigts longs bien différenciés qui retombent légèrement, tient, entre pouce et index faiblement écartés, une sorte de fleur, que la cassure a emportée presque entièrement.
