Fragment of a head from the Great Goddess with calathos: part of the decoration of a calathos, buff fabric and greenish-white slip (?), hollow-moulded, without back, H. 8.4. The relief decoration is clear: concave pellets in quincunx on at least two rows and, as on the preceding piece, two griffins in high relief, separated at their base by a (also concave) pellet, with narrow wings so that the animal also looks like a flower. Fragment from the same mould as Sal_2348. Classical period, area south of the rampart, square K VI/γ4 (east), Salamis; inventory Tc_1741; negative 01064_01; 26 August 1969.
