Loom weight (pesons) of Archaic period, in chamois-coloured clay, roughly modelled, lenticular and thick, with the upper edge largely truncated giving an almost rectangular appearance and a single off-centre transverse hole. Thickness 2.3 cm, diameter 4.7 x 4.2 cm, weight 50 g. Found among Archaic pottery sherds, square K VI/γ4 (west), area south of the rampart, Salamis. Inventory Po_0386; slide C_4743; negatives 01048_03 and 01047_06; 25 August 1969.
