Head of a terracotta figurine of the Great Goddess with a calathos, preserved without the neck, from the area south of the rampart, square K VI/δ4, Salamis, Classical period. The calathos is closed, the back flat and smoothed, and the head is broken at the top of the calathos; the clay is buff, the figurine solid-moulded and coarsely made, with worn features apart from the long, strong nose, and a continuous frontal fringe of hair. H. 6.2 cm. Made from the same mould as Sal_4605. Inventory Tc_1720; 25 August 1969.
