Limestone (perhaps shell-bearing) weight, pierced along its full length by a circular hole widened by erosion, ø 7.3 cm, hole ø 0.7 cm, L. 10 cm, incomplete and heavily eroded, now ovoid in form, with rust traces on its surface recalling a metal part now lost. Found in a fill of the late 4th century BC, square K VI/δ4, area south of the rampart, Salamis, Cyprus. Inventory Po_0318; 30 September 1968.
